never love anybody who treats you like you're ordinary

can officially cross anne frank's diary off of the list.
an amazing read, I actually feel like I know her now.
she was an incredibly intelligent girl of 13-14-15 and her understanding of life beats that of many 'grown ups' living today.
such a tragic way in which the story ends, the last diary entry is so innocent and unsuspecting of the raid which follows the next day.
it is a book that everybody needs to read in their life time. definitely.

but like always

"As I see it, it's all about her getting hurt, and him standing by and letting her feel the pain, knowing it's his fault.
He doesn't know how to love. You hear in his voice just how much he wishes he was capable of love."

Karl Pilkington

These days, when people are born with three arms or four legs, doctors try to whip em off. I wonder if we're interfering with nature too much. Maybe the human body is trying to evolve to cope with modern life. We now live in a world where we have to multitask, so what could be better than having three arms? The Elephant Man has a really big thick skull. Maybe this was nature's way of evolving us so we don't have to a wear a helmet when we get on a bike. His brain would have had that much protection, he wouldn't have needed one. I look at some of these disabilities as superpowers.
